Yesterday was nice and today we move on via choices laid before us
Thought it would be so hard to use my feet but I’m fine, awake, don’t need sleep at the moment
Twirling under stars I once hated, once cursed
Praising a quiet inviting universe verse after verse smiling
Everywhere I go people say something has changed, I know, I can’t hide my joy
Not bad for a loser crying tears of pity yesterday, today a victor in new ways
Friend go dream, don’t worry about me, I’ve found a newer way to walk
Path away from zombies eating those among us helplessly lost
Hey all my friends, remember when I hated everyday with middle fingers loaded, firing at the sky
I’m untangled, just a little, and thick chains that remain are loose and do slide.
