Heavenly Father, can I speak freely

I feel like David, asking why you’re silent

Some days it, feels like nothing is happening

I don’t want to go outside, but I don’t want to stay inside

I don’t want to run, there’s no where to hide

But I don’t know what I’m doing

Save me from myself

I need every bit of help you’ll give

Holy Spirit show me I’m safe

Help me navigate and stay awake

/

Please safe me from myself

Doubt never will and never has helped

/

Can I cry like a summer downpour

Be held yeah comforted and so much more

Hold your hands through these shadows

Fully trust in your strength though these battles

/

I know you never forget but please don’t forget me

I know you don’t look away but please look upon me

I have no sense of direction will you please lead me to the power of the resurrection?
