Emotions always rise

True Adhesive Kind

Neighborhood candles extinguished then wax cold

At times my brain wonders in possible terror variables unfold

I’m trying to find warmth and I’m told to return to you

Bible pages alive and active I’m letting the word of truth dwell richly within

Obeying righteousness not yielding to sin

And may every word of God stick in my life

Hearer and doer walking in the true light

And may every scripture settle in my head

Cleaving to blessed hope faith from what I’ve read

I want to stick with you

You in me, I in you

And you in the Father and the father in us

Together as one, Jesus
