Emotion Dough

Emotions always rise

Summerville School Bus

From the darkness at home

To the darkest place I had gone

Surrounded by metal gates

Sinister descriptions written in poor taste

I sung love to escape pain

Should have kept it to myself

Refrain

Oh this one sings”

Oh this one sings alone

Face against the window, looking for a different home.

Told to be who I am then they mentally stripped me bare

Grabbing at my mind said I had much in need of repair

Splinter in the head programming dead we’ve got a glitch

Remove him from certain avenues place him in a deep ditch

He’ll spin his tires quench his fire he’ll find learned helplessness

Neutralized he’ll compromise to return to system

Train him in temporary goodies so he’ll desire and miss them

So after all the years of being outside

I still keep a lot to myself just like on those bus rides

When she said “oh this one sings.”

This one sings alone

Oh this one sings alone

Face against the window, looking for a different home.

If I ignore them, will old scars go away?

Are my emotions piano keys in ballad sang every day?
